What is QG Playground?

QG Playground is an interactive quiz, poll and assessment platform built by Quiz Granny in India. You create a quiz yourself or ask Granny, the built-in AI assistant, to draft one from a topic or a document. Then you run it live on a big screen, where players join from their phones with a room code and nothing to install, or schedule it so each person plays alone between two dates. Live sessions add streaks, lifelines, emoji reactions and a racing leaderboard. Scheduled quizzes and assessments add timers, question banks, minus marks and certificates. After every session you get scores and question-by-question results, and on Pro Plus a skill heatmap shows who is strong where. It is made for trainers, HR teams, teachers, universities and event hosts who need a room to take part and proof of what it learned. There is a free plan, and paid plans start at ₹799 a month, billed yearly.

What is QG Playground?
QG Playground is an interactive quiz, poll and assessment platform. You build a quiz yourself or with Granny, our AI assistant, then run it live on a big screen or let people take it on their own between two dates. Afterwards you see scores, skill gaps and who needs help.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 7 quizzes, live quizzes with up to 20 players per session and 150 players a month, core question types, and the live leaderboard with QR join. No card is needed to start.
How do players join?
Players open qgplay.live on any phone or laptop and type the 6-character room code, or scan the QR code on your screen. They pick a nickname and they're in. There is nothing to download and no account for players.
Can AI make a quiz for me?
Yes. Tell Granny the topic and who it's for, or upload a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Excel file, and she drafts the questions with answers, difficulty and skill tags. You review everything before you save, and you can ask for changes in plain words.
What's the difference between live and scheduled?
Live quizzes run in the room: you present on a screen, everyone answers on their phones at the same time, and the leaderboard updates after each question. Scheduled quizzes open and close at times you choose, and each person plays alone at their own pace. Scheduled quizzes need the Pro plan or above.
How many people can play at once?
Up to 20 players per session on Free, up to 100 on Pro, and unlimited on Pro Plus and Enterprise. Pro and above also remove the monthly player limit.
Can I use it for exams?
Yes. Scheduled quizzes support time windows, per-question or whole-quiz timers, tab-switch detection and minus marks. Formal assessments with marking, AI proctoring and results released by link are available to Enterprise customers by agreement.
Can I see who learned what?
Yes. Every quiz has a report with scores, question-by-question results and the hardest questions. On Pro Plus you can tag questions into your own categories and see a heatmap of who is strong where, with improvement from the first run to the latest.
What does it cost?
Free is ₹0. Pro is ₹799 a month and Pro Plus is ₹2,499 a month, billed yearly, plus 18% GST (₹999 and ₹2,999 if billed monthly). Enterprise is licence-based and priced for your organisation. Players never pay or install anything.
Is my data safe?
Your quizzes and results belong to you. Players only share what you ask for, with a clear consent line. You can delete your account and data yourself. Read the trust centre for details.
